The Evolution of Blue Collar Work

This multimedia package was created by myself and my colleague, Kassidy Arena. We spent a semester researching and interviewing sources for this two-part story. One part focuses on how traditional “blue collar” work has evolved into highly skilled technological labor, and the second part focuses on how stereotypes and stigmas still plague the blue collar workforce despite how the nature of their work has evolved. The story features two videos each accompanied by text pieces as well as various other content designed to be used as social media marketing to promote the story.
